.Kelleys Island December Bird Census
Sunday, December 16, 2001

Vic Fazio and Tom Bartlett conducted the monthly census on Kelley's Island on Sunday, December 16, 2001 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The island was very quiet people wise, but it was fun birding. There seemed to be a late migration going on as flickers, robins, waxwings, and yellow-rumps appeared to be on the move. The best bird of the morning appeared at the ferry dock as we were leaving, an immature Little Gull. Total of 47 species observed.
