All week long
Join us in welcoming migrating song birds to this wonderfully quiet 2,800 acre island in the western basin of Lake Erie. Our weeklong program includes morning and afternoon guided bird walks at different locations each day and afternoon nature lectures. Butterfly Festival

September 11, 2010
Join us at the Kelleys Island Historical Association located on Division Street. This all day event features outdoor crafts, an indoor afternoon program, and Monarch tagging on the Historical Association grounds. Sponsored by the Kelleys Island Historical Association and Kelleys Island Audubon Club.
 

Kayak Poker Paddle
September 18, 2010
Try your luck at a game of poker as you paddle along the Kelleys Island shoreline enjoying the scenery. You will make five stops at designated areas to pick up a card. The State Park Sandy Beach is the starting and ending location. Sponsored by the Kelleys Island Audubon Club and the Kelleys Island State Park.

Feather and Foliage Bird Festival

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
We are watching the trees for leaves and birds, all day long! Our State Park manager will lead a tree identification walk through the State Park. We will have a guided bird walk at the new North Pond Preserve and Boardwalk. Join us to view a variety of migrating birds along the trail and from the observation deck overlooking the pond or follow the signs to Long Point to see birds up close at our bi-annual banding station.
