Sighting Details:    Coming through now: RB Grosbeak and RB Nuthatches. Several sighted at our feeders past few days. Males and females grosbeaks including first summer males.

Sighting Details:    A Whimbrel was seen by Tom Bartlett on the east shore of the Long Oint Nature Preserve in the early afternoon. It had also been seen at around 9:30 a.m. in the same location by three observers.

Location:    Top Plateau, Secret Garden
Sighting Details:    Female Painted Bunting. 9:25 am along north edge of plateau. Olive green back, olive green blended with brown wings, conical sparrow bill dark in color and dark legs. throat, chest, belly and undertail coverts pale yellow wash. Suspect this bird was a first year female. This is also a new species for the island.
